The History of Stone Ledge Farms

Helping kids with cancer and their families cultivate peace, hope, joy and love in their lives

A working farm from 1850 through the 1960's, Stone Ledge has a stone quarry that supplied sandstone in the late 1800's for use in buildings, bridges and monuments in Northeast Ohio. Restoration of the farm, which includes an historic brick barn, a small fishing pond and nature trails, has been under way since 1993.

Lynn and Peter have dedicated the use of their 12-acre property to helping those in crisis. Their efforts are encouraged by the memory of  their son, Jesse, who enjoyed art, music, cooking, and nature before losing his battle with leukemia in 1997.

Jesse loved Stone Ledge Farms and would be pleased to share it with those who face similar challenges.
